District #6, back of Mrs. Cecil Young�s house in St. Bethlehem, near St. Bethlehem School.

Only one stone but was overgrown and we could not find others. There was an old house which had been the old Cherry house near by. By the area in which flowers were planted, there had to be more graves.

wife of C.M. Cherry   departed this life
Jan.9,1850 aged 16 years and 2 days.
(The people who transcribed this cemetery said: "Had to be 46 years but we could not keep the flour on it long enough to tell".)



Mrs. Young said that there was one which had 1828 on it.



1850 census gives:
Charles M. Cherry - age 50 born North Carolina
Rine M.female - age 20 born Tennessee
Elizabeth A. - age 17 born Tennessee
Mary M. - age 15 born Tennessee
Cordelia B.H.R. - age 13 born Tennessee
Elen R. - age 10 born Tennessee
Charles L. - age 7 born Tennessee
