Near Salem Church on Belmont Road in District #17. This cemetery has been destroyed and no markers are there.

We try to keep families grouped together. If someone's last name is listed, it means they have a separate headstone. If it is not listed, they are sharing a headstone with someone else. Sometimes children are on the same headstone as parents.
Since we do not personally know these families, if we aren't sure of a relationship we list who they are buried next to. Any help matching folks with their relatives will be greatly appreciated.

1850 census gives Caleb Anglin born in Virginia 1783
and Hannah born in North Carolina 1792


GREEN    Ann B.    dau. of C. & D. Green
Nov.1,1882 - June 14,1884
She was the daughter of H. Cullom Green and Dorothy Lyle.
Lucy Ann Lyle is guardian to Dorthula Lyle is over 14 in 1873.


HAIL    Nancy    1763 - Nov.6,1830


HALE    Marvin    son of J.N. & Sallei Hale
April 16,1880 - Nov.1,1907


JOHNSON    Henry     Nov.28,1871 - May 24,1912


????    J??(k)   son,   Elizabeth    1766 - Oct.12,1844
These two are old vaults and very worn with part of the stone gone for Elizabeth.
I think that it was Jackson. ---
It could possibly be Johnson, but the little prongs show for a �K�.


LYLE    Lucy    Jan.1,1826 - June 9,1900
(She was Lucy Ann Mockbee    Married G.B. Lyle in 1854
but he had married Julia Anglen first, 1850 census gives G.B. Lyle
born in 1819 in Tennessee and Julia born in 1825.)
