Obituaries:

BRINKMAN, Catherin
Mrs. Catherin OFFERMAN BRINKMAN, aged 62, wife of Henry BRINKMAN, died at her home on the South Branch road, near Oakdale, Monday, January 6, at 10:30 p.m., after a lingering illness.  Her husband, three children, Mrs. Peter KLEIN of Presto, Pa., William MCCGROGAN of Walkers Mills, and Mrs. R. E. CONWAY of Oakdale, survive.  The funeral services were held Thursday morning in St. Joseph's Church, Carnegie.  Interment in St. Joseph's cemetery.

KOHLING/KOLLING, Peter Sr.
On Saturday morning, August 12 at 6:10 o'clock, Mr. Peter KOLLING, Sr., of 518 Seventh avenue, Carnegie died at his late home after a lingering illness. He was born in Germany on February 28, 1840, being 82 years of age at the time of his death. On February 2, 1866 at Yorkville he was united in marriage with Miss Susan GARBER who passed away in May 1918. To this union eleven children were born, eight daughters and three sons. For many years he was a resident of Moon township and was at one time a foreman at the Superior Mills at Carnegie. He had been a resident of Carnegie for the past 50 years and was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic church. Funeral services were held at his late home, Wednesday morning at 8:30 o'clock. High mass was held at St. Joseph's church at 9 o'clock in charge of Father William VOGT. Interment was in St. Joseph's cemetery. Mr. KOLLING is survived by three sons, Peter C. and John J. of Carnegie and Jacob of McKees Rocks, eight daughters, Mrs. C. LENTZ and Mrs. Elizabeth ROHBECK of Coraopolis. Mrs. Louisa WACK of McKees Rocks, Mrs. Anna WEIKEL and Mrs. Margaret JAMOSKI(sic) of Carnegie, Sue, Mayme and Mrs. Mary BERGAM, at home; also forty grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
