This photo of "MAC" (on left) was taken in 2010 during a luncheon meeting with several other listmembers of the Rootsweb PAALLEGH geneaology group, at a South Hills Restaurant, co-ordinated by listmember JR Jamieson.

I came across the above photo of Al Lenkner -- published in The Pittsburgh Press many years ago -- in a fire-related article.  I (email)chatted with Al about it and he told me his wife Linda has much better shots in scrapbooks
she's been keeping of all his activities.

We will all miss these two, as well as their email bantering which brought smiles to many of our faces!  Fortunately those playful exchanges can be revisited by browsing our mailing list archives at:

https://lists.rootsweb.com/hyperkitty/cgi-bin/search?aop&path=PAALLEGH

. . . simply type their names into the "FROM" search field, Fred C. McCutcheon, or, Al Lenkner

We extend our deepest sympathy to both families, as we silently mourn along with them.
