(Printed in standard German Gothic type; also called Fraktur type. )
----------
[Viewers' Note: A possible problem. Fr is the standard German
abbreviation for married woman ie Mrs.; however in Latin it
can also stand for brother (frater).  It's questionable the president
of the church council was a woman, in 1896.
Keep that in mind.]

ORTMAN, GEORGE  and KOLL, CHRISTINE
At home of her father, Peter Koll, his oldest daughter
-----
It was a joyful festivity, that was celebrated
in the house of Mr. Peter Köll. Young and old enjoyed
themselves completely. As it is, a wedding is a
seldom family event. too. Here, also, was
realized the nuptials of the oldest daughter
of the house, Miss Christine Köll, who has been
busy for many years in our Sunday School, and
has sung in the Choir. Mr. Geo. Ortmann
is now proud, as none other, of his beloved
little wife. We heartily congratulate [them]
once more. [We] want to give [them] all
best wishes in fulfillment.
