I have some scanned in photos of all of the tombstones that I sent you
before (see list below). Let me know if you're interested in them and
I'll send them on to you.

Also, if you're an American History buff, you might be interested to know
that the Jennie (Peale) Smay inscription that I sent you is the
great-granddaughter of Charles Willson Peale, a (relatively) famous American
painter. He painted portraits of thr first 4 or 5 presidents, was a
contemporary of Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Benjamin Rush, and lots
of other prominent early-American citizens. See
http://www.artcyclopedia.com/artists/peale_charles_willson.html for more
information on him. Jennie (Peale) Smay is my wife's
great-great-grandmother.

I've also got some information about a bunch of Beck people, including
Hannah (Beck) Peale, who was Jennie Peale's mother, and John H. Peale, who
was Jennie's brother. I got a copy of the lot plan for a Beck family plot
from the office at Allegheny Cemetery, and there are about 25 people buried
in two adjacent plots (under only 2 markers!! - how disappointing...).
Unfortunately, the only date information on the lot plan is the burial date
and name, and nothing else. I'll send you that information whenever I get
it all sorted out.

Also, supposedly some of my wife's other ancestors are buried in St. Mary's
cemetery in Lawrenceville Gertrude (Kelly) and Joseph Smay, Jr.), but
they're not listed on your site. How complete is your listing of that
cemetery? Is it possible that you're missing some people? Have you had
much luck calling Calvary Cemetery for information from their records about
burials at St. Mary's?

I'd like to provide you with all of the cemetery information that
I've found so far in researching my wife's family in and around Pittsburgh.
If you're interested, please feel free to post this information on your
site and list my name and email address as the submitter.

Please let me know if you have any questions about this information.
