George Jacob Morlock was born 1/18/1795 in Weissach, west of Stutgartt
Germany. He died 12/16/1854 in Etna PA and is buried at the German
church cemetery on Morelock Street. He immigrated to Baltimore on
10/1/1826. He was a carpenter in Etna and used the name Jacob, but is
in the IGI as George Jacob Morlock. His daughter Magdalena married
Traugott Obenauf, my great grandfather.
