Biography of GEORGE WALKER BUSH

 
GEORGE WALKER BUSH, was born 6 July 1946 in New Haven, Connecticut. At the age of two, his parents moved to Texas. He attended Phillips Academy prep school at Andover, received his bachelor's degree from Yale University in 1968 and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1975. On 5 November 1977 he married Laura Welch. 
The professional career of George W. Bush:

     1968-1973  F-102 pilot for the Texas Air National Guard.
     1975-1986  pursued a career in the old and gas business in Midland, Texas.
		Founded Arbusto Energy, later changed to Bush Exploration.
     1978       candidate for the United States House of Representatives.
     1984       merged his company with another small exploration firm to
		form Spectrum 7, of which he was President.
     1987-1988  worked on his father's election campaign for President of the
		United States.
     1989-1994  purchased (along with others) Texas Rangers baseball franchise
		and was managing general partner.
     1994-2000  Governor of Texas (first Texas Governor to be elected to
		consecutive 4-year terms).
     2000-      43rd President of the United States
