Robert is listed as being a carpenter and as such buying the Seigneurie of Pointe-aux-Bouleaux from the widow of Mathieu Amiot on the 5th of April, 1701, thereafter having to give back a quarter to Charles Amiot (Mathieu's son) by the judgement of the "Prévôté de Québec" on the 14th of May, 1708. He then sold the rest to Pierre-Noël LeGardeur on the 21st of August, 1714.
