32. Andrew (or Andreas) MCCOMBS
BIOGRAPHY: Andrew or Andreas McCombs (aka, McKoom)is listed on City-County Muster Rolls of Albany, NY for 1762, which states that he was 22 years of age at that time, and that he was born in Scotland. He is described as a tailor, 5 feet 4-1/2 inches tall, with a fair complexion, blue eyes and black hair. He is believed to have been killed in Aug 1777, along with his brother, Uriel, at the Battle of Oriskany.

Source Comments: It is not entirely clear to me who or when the various parts of this family history were written. I have what appears to be a photocopy
of a booklet about 65 pages long. Some footnotes are
hand-corrected, but I cannot tell who made the corrections. Some
items appear to be well-documented. Others are not or are unclear.
I have been able to verify much of the information, and I believe
the information about this Andrew McCombs to be generally accurate.
BIOGRAPHY: Anna Elisabeth's last name is not known for certain. She was apparently the widow of Thomas Bell (or Bellen) and has sometimes been listed as Anna Elisabeth Bell(en).
