Former Trigg Lady Dies In Evansville
MRS. SUDIE MAE MALONE CUNNINGHAM, age 71, died Sunday, Jul 26, at 1:45 p.m. at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana following an illness of six years. a native of Trigg County, Mrs. Cunningham was born September 25, 1898, a daughter of the late John E. and Ora Mitchell Malone. She was married in September, 1916 to Owen Cunningham and he survives. They had made their home in Evansville for the past 45 years. Mrs. Cunningham was a member of the Baptist church. Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jul 29, at the Alexander Funeral Chapel in Evansville. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Evansville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Carl Cunningham and three grandson, all of Evansville; her stepmother, Mrs. Eliza Malone, Cadiz; a brother Jack Malone, Evansville, and three sisters, Mrs. Garvie Gray and Mrs. Ruth Dobbins, both of Cadiz; and Mrs. Barbara Hawkins of Caldwell County.
