Nancy, Have a copy of document on History of Humphries County TN.pg 210. William Joseph Simpson b Jan.12, 1847. d. March 27 1918 buried Spring Hill near Clinton, Kentucky. Father William Carroll Simpson b October 29,1816 d April 15,1879. Mother Martha De Lostatia, b. Jan. 24, 1827 d. Sept. 16,1917. William was oldest of 9 children. William Carroll's Father was William Simpson born in NC on Jan 12, 1777; d May 20 1875. Mother was Margaret Ann Simpson b about 1784 d. May 20 1876
