Hi Janelle Homes and all other GRESHAM-GRISHAM-GRISSOM researchers,
Janelle, hello neighbor. I live in Cedar Park. And I also have a George
GRESHAM born in VA in the early 1700s. Below is summary of my GRESHAM line.
I don't see a ready connection to our lines but it is possible that your
George GRESHAM, born in the early 1700s could be an uncle to my George
GRESHAM, born in 1736.
Here's my line:
1. George GRESHAM; b Dec 20, 1736 in VA; d c1816 in Wilkes Co, GA; mar
Elizabeth Watts c1758; eleven children including my George GRESHAM, Jr
2. George GRESHAM, Jr; b Jan 22, 1772 in VA; d Mar 16, 1852 in Lawrence Co,
TN; 1/mar Martha THORNTON c1790; seven children; 2/mar Ann "Nancy CHAFFIN
c1817; nine children including my Dicey E. GRESHAM.
3. Dicey E, GRESHAM; b May 13, 1821 in Lawrence Co, TN; d c1888 in Collin
Co, TX; 1/mar William B. BALL on Dec 22, 1841 in Lawrence Co, TN; eight children;
2/mar Felix CARROLL on Oct 15, 1858 in Lawrence Co, TN; one son, my
grandfather Ransom L. CARROLL.
4. Ransom L. CARROLL; b Mar 12, 1860 in Lawrence Co, TN; d Feb 20, 1896 in
Collin Co, TX; mar Margaret Elizabeth WALKER on Jun 19, 1879 in Lawrence Co,
TN; eight children including my father, Rory M. CARROLL.
