Notes for Frances Marion CAMERON

FRANCIS MARION CAMERON
Mr. F.M. CAMERON, one of Trigg County�s most prominent and splendid citizens, died last Sat. night about 9 PM at his home near Montgomery six miles east of Cadiz. FRANCIS MARION CAMERON was born near Wallonia in Trigg County 10-8-1861 and his age at the time was 71 years 3 months and 13 days. He was the second son of JESSIE and JANE BOYD CAMERON. His first marriage was to Miss EDMONIA SOLOMON on 3-9-1888. 6 boys and 2 girls were born to this union. One son died in infancy and WILL J. CAMERON died 12-15-1931. The living children are: GEORGE, HENRY, JOSEPH and WALLACE CAMERON of Trigg County, Mrs. BEN GORE of Dupont, Ind. and Mrs. ERNEST DAWSON of Pueblo, Colo. The first wife died 1-21-1909 and he was married a second time to Miss ELLA SOLOMON, a sister of the first wife, and she survives him. He is also survived by two brothers and two sisters, J. W. and J. L. CAMERON and Mrs. WALTER BARNES, all of Trigg County, and Mrs. W.W. RUSSELL of Dawson Springs. He also has 10 grandchildren. Member of the King�s Chapel Meth. Church for a long time. Burial at Mt. Zion, five miles north of Cadiz.
