Notes for Rex BAKER

REX BAKER
Rex Baker died with a heart attack at the age of 62 years in Blythesville, Ark, October 18. He was the son of the late Lynn and Liza Cunningham Baker near Blue Springs, and resided there until the age of 8 years. He spent several years at Hickman, Ky and later moved to Missouri and Arkansas. The past two years before his death he spent in Torrence, California, where he held a position in a defense plant, returning to Blythesville in June on a brief business trip. He was considering returning to California when he was suddenly taken ill. He lived on a few house. He is survived by six children, three boys and three girls, five of the surviving children reside in Torrence Calif; one daughter resides in Boston, Mass. He is also survived by one sister, Mrs C.R. Jones, Gracey, Ky, one brother Andrew Baker, of Blythesville, Ark; and a host of other relatives in Trigg County. He was buried in Blythesville, ark. Mrs C.R. Jones and daughter, Mrs J.C. Aldridge, of Gracey, went to Blythesville to attend the funeral. Many Trigg countians will feel sad at his passing. he was known and respected by many friends far and wide.Cadiz Record Nov 1944
