LUTHER RUSSELL
Luther Russell Dies At Dawson
Brother of Jesse RUSSELL of this city dies at 65
Mr Luther RUSSELL, 65 years of age, son of the late W.W. and Eliza RUSSELL
passed quietly away at the home near Dawson Springs, Ky, on Saturday March
16th, 1940, after a long
illness.
Mr Russell spent the greater part of his life in Trigg county. The family
having moved to Hopkins county some
years ago.
He is survived by the following brothers and sisters, Willie, Leslie, Alvin
and Miss Sadie RUSSELL of
Dawson Springs, Mrs Maggie Hicks of Colorado and Jessie RUSSELL of Cadiz,
Ky - besides several nephews and
nieces.
Mr Russell united with the church in early life and remained a faithful
Christian to the end.
Internment took place in the Mount Eden Cemetery on Sunday March 1st in the
presence of a large crowd of friends and relatives.
