Charles Trim was married to Anna Gilkey. Anna was daughter of William
Gilkey Sr. and (Hannah Holland?). Extended family group moved to Eddy Creek
area in Caldwell/Lyon County Ky when William Gilkey Sr. given a land grant
of 400 acres. The Gilkeys had been in the Bardstown Ky area and beleived to
have been in Nc before that. Charles Trim also had 400 acres in this same
area. Children were William, Peter, John, Hannahand Nicena. I am
researching the Gilkey family and can share some info on the Trims. A
Barbary Trim is also listed on who may be daughter. Charles in on the 1790
and 1800 census for Person County NC. He is on the 1820 census for Calswell
County.
