I am very intrigued by your David M. Simpson who once lived in
Humphreys Co., TN. My Simpson ancestors are from the same place, but I
have no record of your David. My first ancestor that came to Humphreys
Co, TN was William Simpson b: 12 Jan 1777 Maryland/NC. The children I
have listed for William were all born in the same time period as your
David. It could be that David was William's son, and I just don't have
any records of him. Or David could be a nephew of William. You can find
