Dear Russ,

I guess we are distant cousins. I am descended from Enoch Parr, brother of your Lockwell (Lackwell). Our ancestor was Johan Jacob Parr (Pfarr), who arrived in Pennsylvania from Germany 19 Sep 1738 aboard the "Thistle." His wife was Catharina Elisabetha Bohler. They were the parents of Johan Adam (Johannes) Parr. His wife was Elisabetha Scherman. They were the parents of John (married to Susanna Brouthers). They in turn were the parents of Lockwell and Enoch, among others. I have developed a family outline which I would be glad to share with you. Interestingly, I know rather little about the Illinois Parrs, the descendants of Lockwell. I only have the names of his children. If you could fill some of these gaps for me, I'd really appreciate it.
