Many years ago, in an antique store, I purchased a solid copper letter opener, with the following inscription:
On the Front: "Compliments of Clarence A. O'Brien (with O.B. trademark/insignia). Registered Patent Attorney Opposite U.S. Patent Office, Washington, D.C."
On the Back: "Patents Trademarks & Copyrights - Correspondence Invited. My Booklet on this procedure, For Lawyers only, sent free on request."
The writing is engraved on both sides.
I am not related to the O'Brien family, but would be interested in knowing who this gentleman is, if someone else is related. Can send a scan of the letter opener if someone is interested. Liz
