Montreal, Canada. Migrated from Montreal, Canada to Rossland, B.C.,
Canada sometime between 1904 and 1915. He crossed the boarder (recorded
on the St. Alban's Manifest) from Rossland, B.C., to Burke, Idaho, USA
in 1917. He lived in Burke, ID until his death and is burried in the 9
Mile High Cemetery, Wallace, Idaho. The St. Alban's Manifest shows
Patrick J. crossing the boarder around 1915 to go to Alaska, then he
also crossed in 1916 and March of 1917 into Burke, ID, USA. He is
listed as being 5ft, 11 1/2in, brown hair and blue eyes, blind in the
right eye, can read and write, was 51 when he crossed the Eastport,
Idaho boarder on 4-29-1917

Death claims P.J. Driscoll
Patrick J. Driscoll, 79, Burke, died about 11 o:clock Satuday night in a local hospital. He had been ill for the past five years.
Born in Newfoundland, Driscoll came to Burke in 1922 from Rossland, BC and had lived in the canyon town since that time.
He was employed at the Hercules, Hecla and Star.
He is survived by his widow, Catherine, four daughers, Mrs. P. Head, Burke; Mrs. William Ehlers, Okanogan; Mrs. E. Perdue, Cashmere, WA; and Mrs. Gordon McFarland, Colfax, WA; two sons, James Driscoll, Wallace; and P.M.Driscoll, Kennewick, WA. 12 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Funeral services will he held at 9 o'clock tomrrow morning from St. Vincent de Paul's Catholic church in Burke, the Rev. Father Coleman King officiating. Burial will be in the local cemetery. Rotary services will he held at 7:30 tonight from Ward's Chapel.
