On Feb. 7, 1944, at her residence, 777 Burrard St., Elise Ehlers, in her 91st year. Survived by one daughter and one son, Mary, City; William, Okanagan, Wash.; 2 grandchildren, Robert and Maire. Funeral service in Center and Hanna's Chapel, Wednesday, Feb. 9 at 3 p.m., Ver Rev. Dean Cecil Swanson officiating. Remains will later be forwarded to Walla Walla, Wash. for committal in family plot.
