Notes from Adelaide O'Keefe (nee Wyse)

Ellen Sinnott's father was a prospector in a mine at Little Bay, NFL. Ellen died at a young age when my mother Julia was four years old.

When the older girls were in their teens, some of them went to work at Little Bay. Their grandparents, the Sinnott's had a business there, they traded with Ireland exchanging ore for retail goods. Hence the O'Driscoll, Sutton & Herns were originally from Ireland.
