Dr. Cagle operated on a little child of Geo. Glasgow's, Esq, for Hare-lip, closing a fissure |
in the upper lip, three quarters of an inch wide, and extending into the nostril. The |
operation was a perfect success; the child is now well and the parents are happy. The |
Doctor operated by a new method of perfoming this very delicate operation which is |
much more successful than the old method of cutting down through the free edge of the |
lip. |
