Welcome to the history and genealogy of Onaga, Pottawatomie County, Kansas and surrounding areas.
This website includes a short history of the Onaga area and surrounding towns, including Vienna Township, Blaine, Neuchatel, Duluth, and Wheaton. Since Onaga is a city born from the railroad, I have included local railroad history of the Kansas Central Railroad and the Union Pacific Railroad, as both had a hand in our heritage. Obituaries, early family histories, and local information are also included for Onaga and the local area.
