     Joshua Bayne ABNEY, son of Robert Milton ABNEY and Catherine Powell Smtih, was born on 31 July 1849 in LaRue County, Kentucky.1 He was also known as Josh.

Joshua married Nancy Carpenter Miller on 3 November 1882 in Kentucky.2

Joshua Bayne ABNEY died on 3 October 1928 in LaRue County, Kentucky, at age 79.1 He was buried in Magnolia Presbyterian Church Cemetery.1
