- [S697] Her connection is not proven, yet everything seems to fit. She was born in Putnam county. She fits perfectly in the 1830 and 1840 censuses, and her marriage in Chambers county, was just across the state line from Muscogee county where Richard Burt lived. Milton Stevens' obit said he "married Miss Mary Burt of Columbus, Georgia." Also Wiiliam Marshall Burt lived nearby so she had family in the area.
