ARRIVAL OF THE ALFRED
Daily Southern Cross November 17th 1864

The Dutch barque Alfred, Captain A Decker, anchored off the North Head it 12 o'clock last night. She sailed from Cape Town on the 27th September, and experienced moderate weather throughout the passage. She brings 201 passengers and 85 tons military stores for the Government, and 5 casks wine consigned to Messrs Bucholz and Co. Some complementary addresses have been presented to Captain Decker, signed by the majority of the passengers for the kind treatment they have received through him during the voyage Mr. C Petschler is agent for the Alfred.
