ARRIVAL OF THE LORD WILLIAM
BENTINCK
The New
Zealander December 13th 1851
The Lord William Bentinck sailed from London Docks on the 11th, and from plymouth on the 14th of August. She made the North Cape on the 2nd instant, 109 days from lant to land; but was prevented, by the late strong north-east winds, from rounding the Cape until the wind shifted on Tuesday last. She entered our port on Thursday, after a passage of 118 days, bringing out 78 passengers, about 40 of whom are for Auckland.
