Emery Hamon Kapiti 25 M Chronic inflammation of elbow joint. Jan 16 March 3   This man was readmitted in consequence if a slight return of swelling but is now quiet cured.

James Webb Wairarapa 37 M Retention of urine complete, from stricture. Jan 29 Feb 24   This man left the hospital cured and expressed himself in a better state than he had been for a long time.
Riwai Ngatiaua 30 M Rheumatic fever with bronchitis. Jan 31 Feb 12    
Ko Matene Ngatiaua 35 M Ulceration of left heel bone. Feb 5     This man is still in hospital, and is likely to be for a long time. It is a bad case.
William Signal Karori 51 M Chronic diffused abscess of left thigh. Feb 2 March 16   This man left the hospital without my consent to look after his home, he was brought back to hospital in a great state of debility, he could not walk. When he left he was able to walk well and was much improved in health. the abscess however had not quite disappeared owing to his leaving before he got permission.
Ko Paratene Waikanae 32 M Consumption. Feb 12 March 13   This native was brought from Waikanae, case to far gone to admit cure, since dead.
John Instance Racehorse 30 M Rheumatic inflammation of covering of the bones. March 6 April 29   This was a very bad case was cured when he left and well able to walk.
Ihaka Porirua 25 M Chronic inflammation of the eyes, loss of light and eversion of lids. March 12 Still in hospital   This native could not see the ground or any object when he can in which many people observed, he can now see vessells sailing out of the harbour and can discern minute objects.
Charles Wilkinson River Hutt 37 M Deep seated inflammation of the whole left hand, with abscess. March 23 June 5   This man was near losing his hand from not applying in time before the abscess formed.
Mary Wyburn Wanganui 29 F Chronic erysipelas. March 26     This has been of four years standing and so bad that the whole body is affected. Is still undergoing treatment.
Robert Parks Wellington 29 M Extensive and deep burn. March 27   April 11 This case has already been reported on.

George Crocker Wellington 27 M Acute rheumatic fever. April 11 Still in hospital   This is a very bad case of rheumatism, the heart being affected. Is now quite cured and will leave soon.

Sharerick Parker River Hutt 10 M Ulceration of right tibia. April 25 Still in hospital   This boy was almost a cripple for about eleven months from disease of the bone. He is now cured his friends had little hope of his recovery without the loss of his leg.
Frederick Bligh Wellington 16 M Inflammation of membranes of brain. April 25 June 5   This little boy was near dying.
John Eastman A.P. Wellington 23 M Rheumatism. (Chronic) April 25 June 13   This man was cured of deafness with which he was afflicted before he left the hospital.
Mary Power Wellington 13 F Chronic inflammation of left knee. Feb 24 May 10   This was omitted to be put down in its proper place, namely in February.
