HODDER family:
The "London" arrived at Wellington in 1842 included my Great, Great, Great Grandparents Walter Hodder, his wife Emma Matilda (Nee Gooding) and baby daughter. Walter was born at Taunton, Somerset, England and died at Featherson in 1901. If you have a connection with this family or would like to know more please contact Sam Hodder.

                 

JENKINS family:
William JENKINS was a Wesleyan minister, he also acted as official Government Interpreter. In 1863 he conducted a party of fourteen Maoris to England to be presented to Queen Victoria. He had two sons, William Naylor and Thomas Hunt.
