George Davison's Family c.1921
After the death of Roy Jones, this photo was found along with a number of others in a box. Originally the box was probably Roy's mother's (Mary Jones nee Anderson) although this is not absolutely certain. The photo was probably taken at George and Ada Davison's house in Bexley before they moved to 6 Elizabeth St Campsie, NSW, Australia. This information was supplied by Lil Holdstock (nee Jones) [I 189], George Davison's granddaughter.
After this photo was taken, there were three more children born to George and Ada. They were Sylvia, George and Jack. Jack died aged 2 or 3 from pneumonia. All the children except Lily Davison (Back row right) were Ada's children. Lily's mother was Grace Martin.
