91st PA in June 1863

Throughout this month, the 91st was in the Third Brigade, Second Division, Fifth Army Corps, of the Army of the Potomac, participating in the Gettysburg Campaign from about mid-month. [Dyer, v.3 p.1604]

The accounts of the Gettysburg Campaign have inconsistent dates. I haven't been able to reconcile them yet, and have simply reported them below.

?	To Catlett's Station, after Mount Holly Church (9th) [Bates, p.189]
?	General Weed assigned brigade at Catlett's Station. Went through Manassas Junction (16th?), Gum Spring (17th?), Aldie (20th?) (turned aside to support cavalry), crossed Potomac at Edwards' Ferry. Arrived at Frederick City and rested until 28th. Meade took army, Sykes corps, and Ayers division. [Bates, p.189]
?	Gum Springs (after Manassas Junction), halted 2 or 3 days, with Weed taking command. To Aldie, supporting cavalry. To Leesburg (regiment formed picket line and guarded Union flank). Left Leesburg about 3 pm, crossed Potomac at Edwards' Ferry. To Poolesville, MD, arriving about 9.00. Resumed march ca 4 am. Halted at Frederick City, MD for two days. To Uniontown; bivouacked in rain. Crossed South Mountain, halted at Boonesboro. Shoes had become badly needed, and were issued there. To Union Mills. [Welch, p.502]

4	regiment was camped near Stoneman's Switch, VA The regiment was transferred to United States Ford, and relieved cavalry. They were ordered to leave in the middle of the afternoon, and Walter and others straggled far behind, not arriving until the evening of the 5th. 5	The 91st arrived at United States Ford, and camped in the forest close to the river. [Walter v.3 #39 p.2]
6	Dennis McCarty (E) deserted, at Falmouth Virginia
7	pm. The regiment marched all night, through a heavy rain storm. [Welch, p.502] William Lowry (E) discharged on surgeon's certificate Colonel Gregory spoke at the Fourth Baptist Church, Philadelphia PA ('City items' (Philadelphia Press (13 June 1863, page 2))
8	The regiment marched through the night, halting about 4 am for breakfast at Mount Holly Church. They resumed march at 7 am, and marched all day. They halted at Catlett's Station on the Orange and Alexandria Railroad. 9	regiment was camped near US Ford Fell back to Mount Holly Church [Bates, p.189] The regiment marched several miles through extremely rough and muddy roads. [Walter v.3 #39 p.2] am. They began marching at 2 am, and continued until 3 pm, under a hot sun. Went into camp at Manassas Junction, and did picket duty for three days. Many men left to rest, or look for water. By mid-afternoon, when the regiment halted, only 25 officers and men of about 300 had arrived. 18	Gettysburg campaign continued. regiment camped near Gum Spring VA; had 3 field officers, 3 staff officers, 19 line officers, and 472 enlisted men. 30	Gettysburg campaign continued. The 91st (and 5th corps) left Liberty, and marched 23 miles, to Union Mills, via Johnsville, Union, and Frizellburg. They camped on Big Pipe Creek, along the turnpike from Westminster to Gettysburg.
