Head Quarters 91st Reg. Pa. Vols.
Camp near Aldie Va. June 23rd [? could be 28rd] 1863
"Circular"

In future company Cooks will be ordered to remain with their respective Companies Armed and Equipped as other Enlisted men they will be considered present for duty while the Troops are in Camp when on the March they will be directed to accompany the teams as a Guard but will not be permitted to remain with them only when separated from the command such a distance as in the judgement of the Regimental Commander it will be necessary for the safety of the teams to detain [sic] them
