[Bates' source seems to have missed these transfers; most of these men are listed in Bates' company A list as "not accounted for".]
[The company D register of transfers says about Chandler and Widdefield: "Reenlisting at a detachment [?] in Co A Vols [?]". This may mean that when they were mustered in as veteran volunteers, they were detached, and were mustered in as a group in company A. If so, this order is simply correcting that error.]
