I have the honor to request that Sergt. John L. Graham Co E 91st Reg. Pa. Vols be discharged to enable him to be mustered as 2nd Lieutenant of said Company he having received a commission from the Governor of Pennsylvania August 8th 1864 dated July 22 /64

This company has thirty Eight (38) enlisted men for duty and a Total of Present and Absent of Eighty One (81)
