I have the honor to request that William H Carpenter Capt. Co "D" 91st Pa V Vols now detailed as member of Gen. Court Martial convened at Philadelphia Pa by virtue of S. O. 293 H Qrs Dept. of the Susquehanna Chambersburg Pa December 5" 1864: be returned to his regt for duty. His Company is at present without a Comm off.
