Soldiers were occasionally temporarily attached to the 91st Pennsylvania. I have very little information about these temporary assignments. But here are the temporary assignments I know about:

- in company G 11th Connecticut infantry; temporarily assigned to company I of the 91st (and borne on the muster-out roll as 'George Andrews'); transferred to the 11th Connecticut on 19 August 1862
