the Philadelphia Inquirer of 12 July 1919 page 10 has an article entitled "J. R. ROYER, INVENTOR OF SODA FOUNTAIN, DEAD", which claims he served in the 91st Pennsylvania; I assume this is the Joseph R Royer, G 191 Infantry, in the ARIAS cards. The New Holland Clarion 47 (19 July 1919) page 1 also refers to him as having served in the 91st.
