Description

When he enlisted, he was 5 feet 3-1/2 inches tall, and had a dark complexion, gray eyes, and brown hair. [sources: 4, 5, 6]

During the war

He also served in company F of the 5th Pennsylvania Infantry. He enlisted on 20 April 1861. He was discharged on 25 July 1861. [source: 8, 12]

He enlisted and was mustered into service in the 91st Pennsylvania on 15 November 1861. He was enlisted for three years, at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, by Lieutenant Hall. He was mustered in as a private, at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was a private, in company G. [sources: 1, 4, 5, 6, 8, 14, 15]

After the war
