[note Abram (32 b. PA) and Paulene Bowen et al., in the 1870 census in Marion, Linn, Iowa, series M593, film 405, page 269 recto; if he is this Abram, this Abram is obviously not my Alva. But there is an Abraham Bowen 15 in Colebrookdale Berks PA in 1850 with Samuel 51 and Elizabeth 51 (and Samuel 20 Elizabeth 17, Henry 15, and Daniel 22), and I have not found him in 1860]
