He may have been charged for a lost wrench, tompin, and equipments, perhaps when the regiment mustered out (but the list does not have "to be charged" on his line) (3).

He mustered out on 10 July 1865 with his company (1, 4, 5). He was a private, in company B (11, 12).

After the war

In 1880, he was living in Somerset Borough, Somerset County, Pennsylvania (9). He was living with his wife Jullia and daughters Ida, Ellan, Emma, and Sadie (9). He was a hack driver (9).

He successfully applied from Pennsylvania for a pension on 11 February 1889 (2, 6).

In 1890, he was living in Somerset Borough, Somerset County, Pennsylvania (5). He had kidney problems (5).

He died on 8 May 1900 (6, 7). He was buried in Union Cemetery, Somerset Borough, Somerset County, Pennsylvania (7). He was 72 years, 9 months, and 19 days old (7).

In 1900, his widow Julia Bricker was living in Somerset Borough, Somerset County, Pennsylvania (10). She was living with her daughter Ida and Ida's family (10).
