On 23 February 1865, Sellers wrote to the commander of the 93rd Pennsylvania, telling him that Cleveland had been sent to the 91st under guard, but claimed to belong to the 93rd Pennsylvania Infantry. He also said that the Cleveland was not mentioned in the 91st's records. [source: 2]
