He married Priscilla [unknown family name]. She was born in 1844/45. They apparently had at least one child:

On 22 April 1892, his wife, Priscilla Cloud, died, at 158 East 26th Street, New York City, New York. She died of apoplexy. On 26 April 1892, she was buried, at Mount Vernon Cemetery, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. [sources: 28, 29]
In 1900, he may be the William Cloud who was living as a roomer at 119 East 24th Street, Manhattan, New York, New York. He was a cashier, and had not been unemployed in the previous year. [source: 23]
On 1 January 1901, he married Antoinette Zelenka. She was born on 4 June 1876, in Bohemia, Czechoslovakia. She immigrated in 1889 or 1891. They had two known children:

On 19 September 1907, Antonie Cloud, guardian of his minor dependents, applied successfully from New York for a pension, under the Act of 27 June 1890. The pension certificate was issued on 18 March 1909, and she received $8 per month retroactive to 19 September 1907, and $12 per month retroactive to 19 April 1908. In 1920, his widow was living at 350 Liberty St, Little Ferry, Bergen County, New Jersey. She had remarried, and was living with her husband Michael Faul, and with her and William's children Margret and Wilhelmina. On 29 December 1929, his widow, Antoinette C Cloud, applied successfully from New Jersey [?] for a pension. [sources: 16, 19]
In 1930, his widow was living at 258 Liberty Street, Little Ferry Borough, Bergen County, New Jersey. She was widowed. She was living with their daughter Margaret and Margaret's husband and children. She owned the house, which was worth $6,000. She was a midwife. [source: 26]
In 1940, his Antoinette Cloud Foul was living at 258 Liberty Street, Little Ferry Borough, Bergen County, New Jersey. She was living with their daughter Margaret, and Margaret's family. She worked at book mending for the WPA. She had finished 8th grade. [source: 27]
Antoinette Cloud died on 20 November 1949, in Hackensack, [Bergen County,] New Jersey. (She spent many years in Little Ferry, New Jersey. She was a registered midwife.) [source: 18]
