He was assigned to the 91st as a deserter from the draft. However, this apparently actually referred to a different person. He claimed that 'he was sent from dismounted Camp into the Valley at the time of Early's Raid and finding himself near home left and was arrested on the Route as a deserter and sent to Carlisle Barracks'. (Early's raid started occurred from June through August 1864; see for example the discussion in Wikipedia in 'Valley campaigns of 1864' (accessed 28 May 2014).) [source: 15]

On 3 February 1893, he applied for an increase of pension He was receiving $6 per month. He believed he deserved an higher rate because of his disability, in particular heart disease (incurred at Altoona Pennsylvania about 1878) and an injury to his right wrist, which he received while in service, but which the Medical Board of Altoona disallowed because he hadn't proved he received it while in the service. According to regimental records, Jeremiah Grazier was transferred to company B of the 13th Pennsylvania Cavalry (see source 3, and also sources 1 and 2). According to the index to compiled service records, he served in the 13th PA Cavalry under the name 'Israel Grazier' (see sources 5 and 6).
The other records I have don't mention his service in the 91st (see especially the pension records, source 16). And a Jeremiah Grazier did live in WarriorsMark, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania (see for examples sources 4, 10, and 13). But the evidence is clear enough, especially if Seller's letter of 18 October 1864 (source 15) is about him, that I've simply reported Israel Grazier as having served in the 91st.
