John Johnson

Before the war

He was born in 1828/29 (2 (32 in 1861)).

During the war

He enlisted and was mustered into service in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on 4 November 1861 (1, 2, 3). He was mustered in as a private in company B (1, 2, 5).

He was not accounted for when the regiment mustered out (1, 2). According to the pension index, he was discharged on 2 June 1862 (3). He was a private, in company B (5).

After the war

He died on 25 February 1864 at Harrisburg Hospital (3).

On 28 June 1912, Lizzie J McGill (a minor dependent) unsuccessfully applied from California for a pension (3, 4).
