He died at, or was buried from, 2259 [?] Orianna Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (8). He was buried on 26 September 1892, at Norris Sywan [?] UP Vault, and apparently then buried in Greenwood Cemetery (8).
On 17 October 1892, his widow, Sarah Mealey, successfully applied from Pennsylvania for a pension (7, 9).
