Hezekiah Mullen, one of Bendersville's oldest and highly [sic] respected citizens died at the home of Lewis Dull last Thursday, aged 79 years, 11 months and 21 days, and was buried Thursday afternoon by Montanna Lodge, I.O.O.F., of this place, of which Mr. Mullin was a member. Interment in the cemetery at this place. The funeral sermon was preached by his pastor, Rev. S. A. Diehl, in Bethlehem Lutheran church. Mr. Mullin was an old soldier, a plasterer by trade and a Republican in politics.
