He was enlisted for 3 years, at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, by Captain Gilbert (3). By mistake he was entered on the list for company G of the 91st, commanded by Captain E G Sellers (2, 3, 4-5).
He was transferred to company G of the 90th Pennsylvania Infantry (1, 2).
