In 1900, he was living in South Morgantown, Monangolia County, West Virginia (11). He was living with his wife Lucinda (11). He was a day laborer, and had been unemployed for 6 months in the previous year (11).
In 1910, he was living on Bridge Street, in ward 1, Morgantown, Monongalia County, West Virginia (12). He was living with his wife Lucinda (12). He was living on his own income (12).
He died of paralysis, on 31 July 1910, in Morgantown, Monongalia County, West Virginia (6, 15). He was married (15).
On 27 August 1910, his widow, Lucinda Stansbury, applied successfully from West Virginia for a pension (5, 6).
